We welcome guest speaker Per-Olof Ahlstrom, HaysMac’s Head of Risk Assurance and Advisory Services, who will share his extensive experience and insights. Prior to joining HaysMac, Per-Olof spent a decade at PwC advising organisations on governance, risk, compliance and internal audit, as well as leading large-scale cyber, controls and business transformation programmes. He previously spent 14 years in industry in senior risk, cyber security and transformation roles, giving him a rare blend of advisory and real-world operational experience that boards increasingly value.

In today’s ever-evolving risk landscape, boards and leadership teams face mounting pressure to oversee, safeguard and manage top risks such as cyber, geopolitical threats, macro economic challenges. This session will provide insight into emerging risks, practical approaches to risk oversight, and the critical role of the board in strengthening risk management – particularly in the cybersecurity sphere.
