6 Jan 2026

HaysMac is proud to announce the promotion of Luke Clark, Meia Harnett and Ranvir Cheema to Director, effective 1 January 2026. Strengthening the firm’s Media, Marketing & Advertising, Property and Financial Services sectors, these appointments reflect HaysMac’s commitment to its guiding pillars – For Business. For People. For Good. – by investing in exceptional talent, elevating client service and reinforcing a culture where people and purpose drive long-term success.

Luke Clark joined HaysMac in 2021 from a Big 4 firm and has since developed a strong specialism within the Media, Marketing & Advertising sub-sector. He has played a key role in driving growth, deepening the firm’s industry presence and forging strategic partnerships. Luke combines deep sector insight with robust technical expertise to help clients navigate fast-evolving commercial and financial challenges. From 1 January 2026, he will also Co-Head the wider Creative, Media and Technology (CMT) sector team alongside Tax Partner, Sabina Burke.

Commenting on his promotion, Luke Clark said: “I’m incredibly proud to take this next step in my career at HaysMac. The firm has given me the opportunity to specialise, grow and build meaningful client relationships in an industry I’m passionate about. I’m excited to Co-Head the CMT team with Sabina and further strengthen our presence in the sector.”

While Luke’s promotion reinforces our expertise in Media, Marketing & Advertising, the firm’s growth is equally reflected in the continued evolution of our Property sector. Joining as a trainee in 2016, Meia Harnett has become a central figure in the Property team through her technical expertise, consistent growth and commitment to clients and colleagues alike. She advises a broad range of real estate developers, property managers, and investment and asset management entities, and plays a significant role in shaping the team’s strategic direction. Dedicated to developing people, Meia has been instrumental in establishing the firm’s FutureGen network and Female Event Series and regularly represents HaysMac at key industry events including MIPIM and UKREiiF.

Reflecting on her journey, Meia Harnett said: “It means a great deal to have grown my career at HaysMac and to now step into the Director role. I’m passionate about the Property sector, developing people, and creating environments where colleagues and clients can thrive. I’m excited for what’s ahead as we continue to evolve the team and its impact.”

The firm’s Financial Services practice also sees strengthened leadership with the promotion of Ranvir Cheema. With nine years’ experience across the Financial Services sector, Ranvir specialises in hedge funds, alternative asset managers, private equity, and listed company audits. Since joining HaysMac in 2022, he has led several of the Financial Services team’s largest and most complex group audits, earning recognition for technical rigour, consistent delivery and strong client relationships. Ranvir has also driven the development of the team’s structured training programmes, supporting audit quality and capability-building across the department. As Director, he will continue to focus on strengthening audit quality, enhancing internal training, and deepening expertise across alternative asset managers and large groups.

Looking ahead, Ranvir Cheema said: “I’m honoured to be promoted to Director and grateful for the trust and support I’ve received since joining HaysMac. I’m excited to continue focusing on audit quality, developing our team, and supporting the growth of our Financial Services practice across some of the industry’s most dynamic and complex areas.”

Celebrating the promotions, Natasha Frangos, Managing Partner at HaysMac, said: “Luke, Meia and Ranvir exemplify the talent, ambition and collaborative spirit that define HaysMac. Their achievements reflect our commitment to being For Business. For People. For Good. Each has made a meaningful contribution to their teams and to the firm more broadly, building expertise, nurturing our people and delivering exceptional client service. Their promotions are richly deserved, and I look forward to seeing the continued impact they will make as Directors.”

This announcement follows an exceptional 12 months for HaysMac. Most recently, the firm was named ‘DEI Champion of the Year’ at the Lloyds British Business Excellence Awards, recognised for the second consecutive year as one of The Sunday Times ‘Best Places to Work 2025 – Big Organisation’, and highly commended in the ‘Best Places to Work for Women’ category. These achievements build upon HaysMac’s inclusion in eprivateclient’s ‘Top Accountancy Firms’ for 2025, the annual ranking of leading UK tax advisory firms serving domestic and international private clients, their businesses, and their families.
