Nicky Dockree: Driving excellence in hospitality
Hospitality is a sector that never stands still: it requires professionals with deep knowledge, commercial awareness and the ability to anticipate change. Since joining HaysMac as a graduate trainee in 2016, Nicky has established herself as a leading advisor to some of the most prominent names in the industry and was recently promoted to Director in July 2025.
Her clients value her commercially focused advice and responsiveness, while her colleagues recognise her as a mentor and leader. Beyond her client work, Nicky co-founded both our ‘FutureGen’ network and its ‘Female Event Series’ – initiatives that have created opportunities for young professionals and women in business to connect and grow.
Thabiso Matsau: Championing people and purpose
For Thabiso, accountancy is as much about people as it is about numbers. After beginning his career in South Africa, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant, and relocating to the UK in 2021, he has quickly become a central figure at HaysMac. Promoted to Senior Manager within just one year, his leadership has already left a strong impression.
Thabiso has played a pivotal role in graduate recruitment, training and professional development, guiding over 200 graduates through their journey to qualification. As Co-Chair of our DEI Committee, he is helping to create a culture where everyone can succeed, regardless of their background. His efforts continue to shape not only our firm but also the wider profession.
