We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our Change Management team. The successful candidate will primarily support technology projects, whilst also contributing to business process change initiatives. This role is ideal for someone with excellent analytical skills, a collaborative mindset, and proven experience in driving organisational change.
The Role
- Work closely with project managers, suppliers, and stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements for technology-driven projects.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to elicit requirements, define project scope, and identify areas for process improvement.
- Develop detailed business process maps, workflows, and functional specifications to support both technology and business process change initiatives.
- Conduct gap analyses to identify current versus future state processes, recommending solutions to bridge identified gaps.
- Support change impact assessments, ensuring all stakeholders are aware of changes and their implications.
- Assist in the design, testing, and implementation of new systems and processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Provide clear and concise documentation, including business cases, requirements specifications, user stories, and training materials.
- Monitor project progress, track deliverables, and report on outcomes to ensure successful change adoption.
- Champion best practices in change management and business analysis across the organisation.
Person Specification
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within technology projects and/or business process change.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business needs into actionable solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, both written and verbal.
- Experience with business process modelling, requirements gathering, and documentation techniques.
- Familiarity with change management methodologies and tools.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to take on new challenges.
Desirable Skills
- Professional certification in Business Analysis (e.g., BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis or similar.) or Change Management (e.g., Prosci, APMG).
- Experience with project management software and collaboration tools.
- Knowledge of technology trends and digital transformation in business.
