haysmacintyre has announced the promotion of Krupa Shah to Audit Director, alongside two new Directors, Michael Crowson and Said Bile, reinforcing the firm’s continued investment in its people and appetite to expand. Krupa joins 31 other employees who have been promoted across the firm from April, including Manager and Supervisor promotions. The firm continues its focus on new talent, appointing Said as R&D Tax Director and Michael joining as Audit Director. The appointments come as the firm celebrates its position in LinkedIn’s Top 15 Midsize Companies in the UK listing.
The latest wave of promotions underscores the award-winning firm of chartered accountants and tax advisors’ commitment to nurturing its people and fostering growth during a period of unprecedented expansion. With 84% of employees endorsing haysmacintyre as an excellent workplace, the firm prioritises developing its talent to better serve its diverse and expanding client base. The top 20 London firm has continued to strengthen its senior team alongside ambitious growth plans, with a 22% increase in the number of Directors over the past year.
Krupa has been with haysmacintyre since 2022, overseeing a substantial portfolio of clients across the creative, media, and technology (CMT) sectors, with a focus on marketing, media and advertising. Krupa’s expertise enables her to a deliver high quality audit service in a friendly and approachable way, leveraging her depth of sector experience. Using her deep understanding of sector-specific nuances and technical intricacies, Krupa provides practical guidance, helping clients navigate the complex regulatory landscape.
Said has over ten years’ experience in providing specialist Research & Development (R&D) tax incentives advice across a wide array of clients of different sizes and different sectors. This includes within his native fields of chemistry and engineering alongside other areas, such as software development. Said enjoys acting as a client’s valued expert, assisting in developing a pragmatic and risk-managed innovation funding strategy that utilises all available innovation funding, but also extends to providing clear and tailored advice as part of a wider tax strategy.
Mike’s background is predominately audit with extensive experience of IFRS, UK GAAP and US GAAP, including a client base largely built of private equity-backed and listed companies. Mike has worked across a variety of sectors with the main specialisms being in the technology and life science sectors. Other areas of experience include IPO readiness assessments, reporting accountant engagements, bond issue sign offs and controls implementation projects.
