Focusing on the changing demands and opportunities businesses face, haysmacintyre’s Business Purpose 2030 series will see a rotating panel of subject matter experts discuss a wide range of topics including the current political and economic uncertainty, the fluid funding environment, the ongoing war for talent, and the influence of business ethics and pivoting consumer demands. Together with what we are sure will be a lively audience, we will attempt to navigate a route to business success in 2030.
What do we mean by purpose? A company’s purpose is not its vision, mission or values. A vision statement lays out what the organisation aspires to be; the mission defines the business goals; the values describe the desired culture; and the principles give employees a set of directions. Purpose, on the other hand, emphasises how the organisation should view and conduct itself and therefore shapes how it is seen by all stakeholders, internal and external – an important concept.
On Tuesday 31 March, we will invite key stakeholders from our five corporate markets: creative media and technology, financial services, hospitality and property, to take part in a discussion on the role that business purpose might have in determining corporate success over the coming decade.
We will be announcing details of the panellists and speakers for this event very shortly – look out for more information on our LinkedIn and Twitter channels, and please do join the conversation online using #BusinessPurpose2030.
